About Me

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Management and Technology from Bowling Green State University in December 2021, which became a true turning point in my career and educational journey. In August 2023, I reached another major milestone by earning my Master of Education in Instructional Design and Technology, deepening my passion for creating meaningful learning experiences that help people grow, build confidence, and apply what they learn.

My time at BGSU changed the way I saw myself as both a learner and a professional. The support of faculty mentors, advisors, classmates, and collaborative learning experiences helped shape my academic path and encouraged me to keep stretching toward new goals. Whether through coaching, group projects, thoughtful conversations, or shared challenges, I gained knowledge and relationships that continue to influence how I show up in my work today.

I will always be grateful for the people I met, learned from, and grew alongside during my time at Bowling Green State University. They remain part of the foundation that keeps me moving forward professionally and personally.

I have been an employee at LexisNexis since 1998, and my journey here has truly shaped who I am as a professional. I started as a Customer Support Representative, where I learned the importance of listening, problem-solving, and helping customers feel confident using our products. It was also where I discovered my love for training after being asked to teach a new product. From that moment, I was hooked.

Over the years, I have had the opportunity to train, mentor, and support many individuals who have come through our doors. Watching people grow in their roles, build confidence, and move on to do great things has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and I could not be prouder of the part I played in their journey.

I currently serve as a Performance Consultant, where I support sales enablement, training, coaching, and learning experiences that help teams improve performance and connect their work to business goals. My background in customer support, customer success, onboarding, training, and instructional design allows me to bring both practical experience and a people-centered approach to the work I do every day.

I am a proud mom, and family is one of the greatest joys of my life. Our household is full of love, laughter, movement, and plenty of personality, especially with our sweet cat, Lovey, and our playful Australian Shepherd, Jackson. Between college trips, sports practices, school activities, family responsibilities, and all the unexpected things life brings, there is always something going on, but I would not trade it for anything.

When life slows down, I try to be intentional about making time for myself. I enjoy curling up with a good book, getting into a new TV series or movie, or relaxing with music playing in the background. I also love traveling, exploring new places, and creating memories whenever I get the chance.

Being outdoors is another way I recharge and find balance. Whether I am taking a walk around the neighborhood, enjoying nature, or simply taking in some fresh air, those quiet moments help me reset and feel grounded. Life may be busy, but it is full, meaningful, and filled with the people and moments that matter most.

I am a proud member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Kappa Sigma Chapter, where service, sisterhood, education, and community impact are at the heart of the work we do. During my time with the chapter, I have had the honor of serving in several leadership roles, including Epistoleus, Community Service Chair, Fundraising Chair, and Education Chair. Each of these roles has helped me grow as a leader, communicator, organizer, and servant to my community.

As Community Service Chair, I helped organize and support initiatives that aligned with our mission to enhance the quality of life for women, families, and communities. This role strengthened my passion for serving Dayton and the surrounding areas, while reminding me that meaningful change often starts with showing up, listening, and meeting people where they are.

As Fundraising Chair, I supported efforts to raise funds for important chapter initiatives, including scholarships and our annual Swim1922 Swim Clinic. This work allowed me to help connect resources to purpose, making sure our programs could continue supporting students, families, and community wellness.

As Education Chair, I was able to support learning, scholarship, and educational programming, which connects directly to my personal and professional passion for helping others grow. 

As Epistoleus, I captured memorable moments, promoted chapter events, and helped highlight the impactful work of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. throughout Dayton and the surrounding communities.

These roles have pushed me to grow, lead with intention, and continue using my gifts in ways that serve others. They have also deepened my commitment to community service and reminded me that the work we do is bigger than a title. It is about impact, legacy, and helping make our communities stronger.
